John David Cobb

John David Cobb is an Associate Vice President at Kidder Mathews in Dallas, where he specializes in the acquisition and disposition of commercial investment properties.

John David joined Kidder Mathews in 2026 as one of the founding brokers in the firm’s expansion into Texas and is a member of an investments team alongside Mart Martindale, Brandon Beeson, Wilson Stafford, and Claire Schmeltekopf.

John David began his commercial real estate career as a Financial Analyst Intern at CBRE before joining Swearingen Realty Group, where he served as both a Research Analyst and Tenant Advisor. In those roles, he advised local and national clients on relocations, renewals, dispositions, and lease extensions while gaining experience in market research, financial analysis, and transaction advisory.

Today, John David focuses on representing owners and investors in the sale of commercial investment properties. His background in research, leasing, and investment sales has given him a broad understanding of commercial real estate and the factors that influence investment decisions.
