Kidder Mathews received the exclusive disposition assignment for this “Class A” marina development project located in the northwest corner of Orcas Island. The owner/developer of the project, due to family estate issues, had been trying to sell the marina project independently for over a year. Kidder Mathews devised a customized marina and resort owner prospect list for this assignment that included over 3,000 entries throughout the United States and Canada. The property sold for $4.4 million to a California-based marina owner/manager.
Kidder Mathews transformed an overshopped marina investment into a directly marketed investment offering that generated a large amount of inquires from all over the United States and Canada.
Kidder Mathews had close participation in what turned out to be a complicated due diligence and financing process for the buyer and pushed it toward a successful closing of sale.
Kidder Mathews created a sale that satisfied the needs of the seller’s family estate, where prior the seller had met with no success in his direct marketing efforts.
