Kidder Mathews is pleased to announce the results of its second annual Holiday Giving Campaign, raising $88,300 to support three nonprofits addressing hunger and housing needs in the communities the company serves. Contributions from employees, brokers, and the Kidder Mathews Foundation combined to create a meaningful impact this holiday season.
“This campaign reflects who we are as a company,” said Bill Frame, SIOR, CCIM, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Our people showed up because they genuinely care about helping others, and that care translated into real support for organizations doing important work in the communities where we are.”
“Our Holiday Giving Campaign matters to people across our firm, as it allows for contributing at a local level” said Eric Paulsen, Chief Operating Officer. “Seeing every office get involved with brokers, asset managers, appraisers, and staff, coupled with the Kidder Mathews Foundation coming together around causes that support families and individuals in need is impactful, and it’s encouraging to see how that collective effort can make a real difference.”
Key donations from the campaign include:
- $36,300 was donated to Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger relief organization that partners with food banks, pantries, and meal programs nationwide. The funds were raised through a friendly competition among Kidder Mathews’ regions, with strong participation from brokers and staff. To amplify the impact, the Kidder Mathews Foundation matched $5,000 per region. With every dollar providing at least 10 meals, the donations will help serve 363,000 meals.
- The Kidder Mathews Foundation is donating an additional $2,000 to support local charities in the winning region.
- $30,000 was donated to Habitat for Humanity. The Kidder Mathews Foundation contributed $15,000 on Giving Tuesday, with matching funds from the nonprofit doubling the donation. The contribution will help advance Habitat for Humanity’s work in California and Arizona in support of safe, affordable housing for families.
- $20,000 was donated to Northwest Harvest as part of the 25th annual Home Team Harvest, Washington’s largest food drive. Regional President of Brokerage Will Frame and Senior Vice President of Marketing Christina Twidale delivered the check live on KING 5 News in Seattle.
