Yellow Bee Market & Café to Open New Location at TRAXX Apartments in Mountlake Terrace, WA

Yellow Bee Market & Café has leased 4,500 square feet at TRAXX Apartments in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, building on the success of its first store in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood. The new space, located at 23905 Van Ry Blvd #500, sits adjacent to the Mountlake Terrace light rail station and is expected to open in late 2026.

Kidder Mathews Senior Vice President Kelly Gaddis and Senior Associate Mia Ponce represented Yellow Bee Market & Café in the lease.

The TRAXX location reflects a broader shift toward smaller, design-forward grocery concepts that match the pace of modern living. Yellow Bee offers a curated neighborhood market, full hot deli, and café environment within a compact footprint designed for high-frequency use. It features prominent street visibility and easy access for both residents and transit riders—aligned with the brand’s trendy, grab-and-go model.

The market’s origins trace back to Founder & CEO Brian Hoang’s family-owned Asian grocery business, established in 2008. That foundation, along with his experience operating the Hong Kong Market chain with multiple locations in King and Pierce counties—as well as Do Si Korean BBQ in Kent and West Seattle—informs the brand’s emphasis on fresh ingredients, prepared foods, and streamlined experience.
