Seattle Samosa Leases Redmond East Space for First Dedicated Production Facility

Posted In — News & Press | Press Releases

Seattle Samosa, a fast-growing minority- and women-owned food business specializing in handcrafted Indian snacks and meals, has leased 9,410 square feet at Redmond East, 6645 185th Avenue NE, Building 14, Suite 150, in Redmond, Washington. The space will be home to the company’s first dedicated production facility, a major milestone in its journey from a homegrown startup to a regional food leader. Kidder Mathews Senior Vice President Kelly Gaddis and Senior Associate Mia Ponce represented Seattle Samosa in the transaction.

Founded in 2021 by husband-and-wife team Vikas and Leena Tomar, Seattle Samosa has grown multifold in just three years through its hybrid B2C and B2B model. The company supplies authentic, ready-to-eat Indian samosas, other snacks, and beverages to households, retail partners, and corporate clients across the Pacific Northwest.

The Redmond East facility—owned by Alco Redmond East, LLC—will serve as the company’s central production hub, allowing it to scale operations, expand distribution, and meet growing demand. The new space will be dedicated to high-volume production, food safety, and innovation, supporting both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.

“This facility represents a new chapter for Seattle Samosa,” said Vikas Tomar, Co-Founder and CEO. “We started with a vision of bringing authentic Indian flavors to every table, and now we are equipped to serve even more families, businesses, and communities across the region.”

The expansion underscores Seattle Samosa’s commitment to sustainable growth, job creation, and community engagement. The company plans to hire additional production staff and invest in state-of-the-art kitchen equipment to ensure efficiency without compromising on quality or authenticity.

Seattle Samosa’s Redmond East facility is expected to be fully operational by Q4 2025, with production capacity increasing significantly to support both regional and national distribution opportunities.

“Industrial space with the right food production layout and flow is rare, so finding a location—let alone one that was designed for food and aligned with our client’s goal—was a huge win,” said Gaddis. “It’s always rewarding to help a business secure the space that it needs to grow.”

“This was a particularly special deal because it’s a local success story,” said Ponce. “Seattle Samosa started small, built a loyal following, and is now positioned to scale its operations in a meaningful way. It’s exciting to be part of that transition.”
