Posted In — News & Press | Press Releases

Kidder Mathews is pleased to welcome Robert Shipley as senior vice president and market leader for Asset Services in Bellevue. He will oversee daily operations of the firm’s portfolio in Seattle’s Eastside submarket — including business development, client relations, risk management, and leading property teams to deliver best-in-class service.

Shipley brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial property management. Before joining Kidder Mathews, he oversaw a diverse portfolio that included industrial, office, retail, and medical properties. He founded and ran Brightstreet Development and held key roles with SMARTCAP, Inc. and Coast Property Management. In these positions, he led ground-up development projects valued at $137 million and managed $600 million in assets. He has negotiated numerous leases totaling over $360 million in rental payments for institutional, private, and governmental clients.

Shipley joins Kidder Mathews at a time of strong momentum for Asset Services. The division is seeing record numbers, marking its highest revenue to date in the last year and now managing more than 57 million square feet of space across nearly 800 assets, serving 260+ clients.

“Robert’s extensive background in property management and development make him an excellent addition to our team,” said Asset Services President Erin French. “I look forward to working with him as we continue to expand our footprint.”
