Robert Shipley is Senior Vice President & Market Leader for Kidder Mathews Asset Services in the Bellevue/Eastside submarket.

With over 20 years of experience in commercial property management, Robert is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm’s asset portfolio in Seattle’s Eastside submarket — including business development, client relations, risk management, and leading property teams to deliver best-in-class service.

Before joining Kidder Mathews in 2024, Robert managed a diverse portfolio of property types, including industrial, office, retail, and medical properties. He founded and ran Brightstreet Development and held key roles with SMARTCAP, Inc. and Coast Property Management. In these positions, he led ground-up development projects valued at $137 million and managed $600 million in assets. He also oversaw the planning and entitlement of an additional $270 million in development projects.

Robert’s expertise spans financial management, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, tenant relations, capital improvements, facilities maintenance, and problem-solving. He has negotiated numerous leases totaling over $360 million in rental payments for institutional, private, and governmental clients.
