Ray Tuntland has joined Kidder Mathews’ Reno office as a vice president specializing in land acquisitions and sales and investment sales. Tuntland is a veteran of the commercial real estate industry, with nearly 30 years of experience in both brokerage and development. Prior to Kidder Mathews, he was a vice president at Colliers International in Reno.
Tuntland began his commercial real estate career in 1995, brokering industrial land for investment buyers and sellers. He went on to create two successful companies — Insight Development, which he co-founded in Las Vegas, followed by Tuntland Land & Development in Las Vegas and Reno. Both companies were full-service commercial real estate development, investment, brokerage, and management firms.
Over the course of his career, Tuntland has completed over $260 million in sales and lease transactions, totaling over one million square feet of commercial buildings and nearly 450 acres of land across most asset types in multiple markets. He’s also directly developed over thirty industrial, office, and retail buildings valued at $90 million.
