Brimming with building activity and investment, the Bay Area’s booming life sciences sector is now spilling out across the Peninsula.
“Traditional developers and new players in the sector are looking into the next frontiers,” said James Bennett, executive vice president of life sciences for commercial real estate services firm Kidder Mathews. “There are lots of planning and proposed development. Right now, developers are planting flags, acquiring property and anticipating where the next wave is going.”
