Kidder Mathews Sells 130-Unit Mixed-use MUIR Apartments in Seattle for $54.5M

A luxury mixed-use apartment building located minutes from downtown Seattle sold yesterday in a transaction structured by Kidder Mathews. The 130-unit mixed-use apartment complex, MUIR Apartments, sold for $54.5 million.

Dylan Simon, Winslow Lee, and Jerrid Anderson of the Simon and Anderson Team, a multifamily investment sales team based in Kidder Mathews’ Seattle headquarters, represented the seller in the marketing and sale of the property and directly sourced the buyer.

MUIR Apartments — taking its name from Camp Muir, a refuge on the ascent to Mount Rainier’s peak — stands as prominently as its namesake. The building was delivered in 2019 and boasts some of the finest interior design and resident amenities available in the Seattle market. Sightlines from units and the building’s rooftop deck offer unobstructed views of downtown Seattle and Mount Rainier.

The buyer is Denver-based EverWest Real Estate Investors, a real estate investment advisor providing investment management services throughout the U.S. including acquisitions, asset management, development, and property management. This includes active development and investment across the Pacific Northwest, and a bullish multifamily acquisition strategy in Seattle.
