Veteran commercial real estate brokers Gary Cohen and Scott Vix have joined Kidder Mathews’ San Francisco office as senior vice presidents. Before joining Kidder Mathews, they were with TRI Commercial in San Francisco.
Cohen specializes in investment and land sales in the Bay Area. He has been in the commercial real estate industry for more than 38 years, including over 30 years in development, having acquired land, entitled, and sold developments. He has devoted considerable time partnering with San Francisco City agencies and the non-profit community on affordable housing and other needs, providing counsel on various real estate matters, and procuring properties on their behalf.

Vix specializes in the sale and leasing of office and industrial properties in San Francisco. He has earned the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation, and he is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Over his 18-year career, Vix has successfully executed more than 500 transactions totaling over 5,000,000 square feet. He has represented clients including BMW Motorcycles of SF, California College of the Arts, Jordan Park Group, and Ken Fulk Designs.
