Kidder Mathews’ CEO Bill Frame Named a Power 100 Influential Business Leader

Posted In — News & Press | Press Releases

Kidder Mathews’ CEO, Bill Frame, has been named a Power 100 influential business leader by the Puget Sound Business Journal. Executives on this year’s Power 100 list are being recognized as influential leaders who have stepped to the forefront during the economic hardships of 2020. Power 100 is not a ranking but a roster of those who were selected specifically for their leadership in the midst of the Puget Sound region’s economic upheaval.

In July, Kidder Mathews completed its three-year succession plan and appointed Frame, previously the firm’s President and COO, to CEO. In this tumultuous year, Frame led the firm’s leadership team and continued to grow the firm by hiring top producers and completing transactions in all the firm’s West Coast regions. During the firm’s aggressive growth over the past four years, he was instrumental in enhancing the firm’s operational infrastructure and added several new systems, platforms, and professional personnel, all of which supported the firm exceptionally well during the impact of COVID-19 on the economy, as well as the firm’s operations when its 900 person workforce, in 22 offices, were required to work remotely from home.

Frame started his real estate career at Cushman & Wakefield but has spent the last 28 years at Kidder Mathews. Before becoming a top executive in the firm, he was a successful office sales and leasing specialist, a perennial top producer in the firm, and managing director of the firm’s Tacoma office. For 19 years, he has served on the firm’s board of directors and strategic planning committee, and he has been instrumental in the firm’s aggressive growth, operations, infrastructure, and profitability. Prior to his real estate career, Frame was the vice president of finance at Evergreen International Airlines. Frame is also involved in the community. He serves on the South Sound Care Foundation’s advisory board and is active in the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, Tacoma/Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys & Girls Club. He is a member of the King County Board of Realtors and Washington State Commercial Association of Realtors.

Frame is on the Power 100 list alongside many impressive leaders, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Bill Gates, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Nordstrom CEO Erik Nordstrom, and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, to name a few.
