Following a decade of award-winning growth as predecessor firm Ascentium, SMITH determined to undergo a major rebrand that would more accurately convey its creative/technological culture and corporate mission.
A vital piece of this repositioning was relocation of its headquarters to a space that clearly reflected the new direction and desired image of the firm. This move would ideally assure clients of SMITH’s prestige in the industry, as well as attract a talented and urban workforce, both of which presented as challenges at the original office in Bellevue, Washington.
SMITH ultimately enlisted Kidder Mathews to help the company realize its core objectives by leading the search for an office in some of the most desirable submarkets in Seattle.
