Posted In — Success Stories |

Assignment

The Gatwick Site is a 13.16 acres (573,475 SF) project located at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard with frontage along the I-710 Long Beach freeway in the City of Commerce. Kidder Mathews brokerage team, Jon Reno and Robert Thornburgh, have handled the management and leasing on this site for the past 20 years and continue to this day. While not only collaboratively working with the city on this project, there were significant rail easements owned in fee by Union Pacific Railroad and BNSF to navigate through, not to mention prior environmental issues.

Results

The property was sold to an investment group who plan to redevelop the site into a retail power center.  Kidder Mathews was retained to not only continue the management and leasing, but to provide consulting work as well.
