Kidder Mathews was retained on acquisition by a private investor to manage the 88,000 square foot, Class A office building located at 428 Westlake in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. Kidder Mathews represented ownership in construction meetings with GLY Construction, project manager, subcontractors, and Amazon, to ensure a seamless day-one move-in for Amazon in all six office floors. In addition to facilitating timely occupancy, Kidder Mathews’ role included lease abstracting, accounting and financial management, implementing competitive service contracts, set up of new electric car (“EV”) charging stations, and developing a detailed operating and capital budget.
