Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and a Bachelor of Science in accounting, both achieved at San Francisco State University. She has also earned the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license.
She oversees the accounting department of approximately 35 staff members. Jamie works directly with clients and the property teams, creates and implements reporting and financial requirements, and translates those requirements into processes, controls, systems, and reporting. She is responsible for developing, supervising, and directing our property accounting team, including senior property accountants, property accountants, and accounting associates.
Jamie began her financial career in public accounting in 2007, gaining experience in analyzing financial statements and ensuring accuracy, as well as handling tax return and audit responsibilities. During this time, she was exposed to various industries, including commercial real estate.
In 2016, Jamie transitioned to the commercial property management industry as a staff accountant. Her natural interest in real estate and attention to detail enabled her to quickly take charge of financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of Class-A, high-rise office buildings, adhering to GAAP and tax reporting requirements. Additionally, she has extensive experience preparing and reviewing budgets and CAM reconciliations. Notably, she led the implementation of budget software for a company managing over 200 properties before joining Kidder Mathews.
