Geri Varvel is a property manager based in Kidder Mathews’ Portland office. Geri began her career in commercial real estate in 2000 and moved to property management in 2019. Geri is directly responsible for day-to-day operations, landlord and tenant relations, property operations, construction project management, financial reporting, budgeting, and CAM reconciliations.
Geri has worked as a commercial real estate broker for the past five years, specializing in retail leasing and sales, providing both landlord and tenant representation. Prior to focusing on brokerage, Geri’s experience included property management accounting, loan servicing, and transaction accounting. Geri’s experience afforded her the opportunity to quickly gain a vast knowledge of all aspects of commercial real estate.
Geri is a licensed broker in the state of Oregon and is currently pursuing her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Geri has been volunteering with Pacific Northwest Search & Rescue, Inc. since 2017 and has also been a volunteer coach for NCP Hoopers Youth Basketball. Geri was also a mentor for Team Challenge, benefiting the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of American (CCFA) in 2011.
