A native of California, Steve began his commercial real estate career over 40 years ago and has been successfully representing investors ever since. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, he was with Voit Real Estate Services, and before that, he was one of the top investment agents in the entire NAI Global company. He moved to NAI after being one of the top investment specialists in the Private Capital Markets National Practice Group at Grubb & Ellis which marked his second stint with the company, his first being back in 1995 as the vice president and manager of the Investment Properties Division in Sacramento for three years. Before his second period with Grubb & Ellis, Steve was with the Buzz Oates Group of Companies for 12 years where he directed and managed the sale of office, industrial, and retail properties for one of the largest developers in California.
Throughout Steve’s 40+ year career in commercial real estate, he has sold over one billion dollars of office, industrial, and retail investment properties throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado, and has represented some of the largest institutional investors in the United States.
In 1993, Steve earned the prestigious Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM) designation. Additionally, his expertise has brought him recognition as a top producer in his industry, as well as Investment Broker of the Year honors.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Southern California, where he was also a 4-year varsity, All-American, and world-ranked swimmer, as well as a 3-year varsity water polo player. In 1972 Steve was a member of the 800 freestyle relay that set an American record. He has his real estate broker’s license in the State of California.
