Robert Shipley

Robert Shipley is Senior Vice President & Regional Market Leader for Kidder Mathews Asset Services Pacific Northwest.

Robert oversees operations, quality control, and service delivery for Kidder Mathews Asset Services, Pacific Northwest Region. This includes providing support and direction for the Asset Services Accounting and Engineering departments and playing a key role in recruiting and supporting all personnel within the division. He works closely with the president of Asset Services to oversee day-to-day operations and serves on the firm’s executive leadership team and strategic planning committee. Robert has over 25 years of experience in the industry and joined Kidder in 2024.

Before joining Kidder Mathews, Robert managed a diverse portfolio of property types, including industrial, office, retail, and medical properties. He founded and ran Brightstreet Development and held key roles with SMARTCAP, Inc. and Coast Property Management. In these positions, he led ground-up development projects valued at $137 million and managed $600 million in assets. He also oversaw the planning and entitlement of an additional $270 million in development projects.

Robert’s expertise spans financial management, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, tenant relations, capital improvements, facilities maintenance, and problem-solving. He has negotiated numerous leases totaling over $360 million in rental payments for institutional, private, and governmental clients.
