Michael believes in a relationship-driven approach to the business and is dedicated to building meaningful connections with his clients that go beyond the scope of any single transaction.
This unique mindset has helped him close over $350 million in transactions since 2015 involving most national retailers to include Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, Chipotle, Wawa, Sherwin Williams, Wendy’s, 7-Eleven, Zaxby’s, First Citizens Bank, Taco Bell, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Bojangles among many others.
He is focused on serving clients ranging from institutional developers and investors to private families and individuals in the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-tenant retail properties across the country.
Michael currently resides in Manhattan Beach, CA and still spends time in Charlottesville, VA where he grew up. He is a proud graduate of Sewanee: The University Of The South where he earned Conference Player Of The Year honors in 2013 and 2014 as a Captain of the lacrosse team. He also served as the Student Assistant Chief of the Sewanee Volunteer Fire Department.
Michael is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds real estate licenses in multiple states. In his spare time, he enjoys many outdoor activities including golf, tennis, surfing, beach volleyball and basketball and continues to volunteer in youth sports within the community.
