David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of California.
David is Senior Vice President and Market Leader for Kidder Mathews’ Asset Services division in Southern California, where he oversees the management of a portfolio exceeding 8.5 million square feet. In his role, David leads the development and direction of property teams, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class services. He partners closely with clients to identify and implement value-driven strategies, while maintaining compliance with financial reporting standards and managing risk. David also plays a critical role in new business development and expanding the firm’s regional presence.
Throughout his career, David has built a strong track record of maximizing asset value across a diverse portfolio including industrial, office, retail, medical, and land properties. He is widely respected for his leadership and mentorship, deep knowledge of lease negotiations, and ability to build collaborative, service-driven teams. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, David held leadership roles at LDKV Management, where he implemented new best practices and technologies to provide heightened client service and more efficient management including automated work order, insurance, and preventative maintenance tracking systems, and at The Buzz Oates Group of Companies, where he spent 18 years as Asset Manager. His career also includes senior positions with Cushman & Wakefield and other major real estate organizations, overseeing portfolios as large as 11.5 million square feet.
David is an active advocate within the industry. He served on the Board of Directors for the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) Sacramento from 2008 to 2022, including terms as Chapter President and President of BOMA California. He has also contributed at the national level as Co-Chair of BOMA International’s Industrial Committee. Additionally, David served on the Board of Directors for the California Business Properties Association (CBPA) from 2017 to 2023. In 2011, he was named a “40 Under 40” honoree by the Sacramento Business Journal.
