Steven Klein has over 44 years of experience in commercial real estate sales, leasing, and the development of industrial and flex properties.

Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, he was a principal at Trammell Crow Company for nearly 15 years, where he oversaw the Industrial Properties Group. He later served as executive director of Insignia/ESG, Inc., managing all lines of business across all product types in the Oregon and Southwest Washington region.

Over the course of his career, Steven has completed more than 2.6 million square feet of industrial and business park development and redevelopment projects in the Portland Metro Area. Steven’s depth of experience allows him to strategically position assets to maximize renewals, drive occupancy, and enhance overall property value. He works closely with owners and property managers to implement effective leasing and asset strategies, while expertly managing transactions to protect and advance his clients’ best interests.

Steven has served as the president of the Oregon Chapter of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP) and is currently a member of the Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB). He is a former board member at Kidder Mathews and Waverley Country Club and currently serves on the advisory board at the Portland State University Center for Real Estate.
