Dana Klein

Dana Klein serves as senior vice president of brokerage operations at Kidder Mathews. Leveraging over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, she leads a team of nearly 60 staff members across 19 offices in the Western U.S., overseeing day-to-day administrative needs, local brokerage marketing, and facilities operations.

Dana oversees operations supporting more than 500 brokers across Kidder Mathews and manages the development, performance, recruitment, and training of the brokerage staff. In addition, she plays a pivotal role streamlining the onboarding process for new brokerage staff and agents. Her leadership ensures client service standards are executed consistently and at the highest level across all offices.

She joined the firm in 2007 in Portland and quickly advanced—managing multiple offices and contributing significantly to Kidder Mathews’ expansion throughout the Western U.S. In 2015, she relocated to San Diego to help launch the firm’s first Southern California office and has since helped open nine more.

Promoted to senior vice president in 2024, Dana is one of six women on the executive leadership team and serves on the firm’s strategic planning committee. She became a shareholder in 2017.

In addition to overseeing brokerage operations, Dana manages office buildouts, tenant improvements, and internal relocations. She also partners with marketing leadership on the design and furnishing of new offices and leads onboarding for staff and agents—ensuring consistency, professionalism, and operational excellence firmwide.
