Steve Hunt

With over 39 years of experience in commercial real estate, Steve Hunt specializes in office sales and leasing in Santa Clara County.

Steve has been a commercial real estate broker since 1985 and has redeveloped extensive knowledge in the Silicon Valley office sector. Native to San Jose, Steve graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in law enforcement. He worked as a police officer before entering the brokerage profession.

Steve’s journey in real estate commenced in 1985 with Bishop Hawk Commercial Real Estate. He then worked for two years at Ritchie Commercial, followed by 26 years at Colliers, and five years at Avison Young, all based in downtown San Jose. He specialized in the West Valley and family-owned office buildings. Steve leverages his vast knowledge and experience, combining personalized service and excellent social skills to meet the unique needs of each client.

In his spare time, Steve spends many hours volunteering his time and talents. His number one interest outside of work is spending time with his children and their activities. He has been past president of his homeowner’s association, site council member at the local elementary school, soccer and little league coach, and an avid supporter of numerous sports his children and wife participate in. Steve was past the president of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Advisory Board. He has two grown children and recently became a grandfather to a little boy.
