Jane Hughes has been in the property management field since 1993. She has worked on all commercial property types and has extensive retail property management experience.
Jane is experienced in dealing with a variety of retail tenants including large anchor tenants such as Safeway, Albertsons, Rite Aid, Men’s Wearhouse, Kohl’s and Michaels, government tenants such as the Washington State Liquor Store, US Army, Department of Energy, Veterans Center, corporate tenants such as Starbucks, Bechtel, Radio Shack/Sprint, and State Farm, as well as smaller locally owned independent retailers. Jane’s retail experience includes management of neighborhood centers, regional centers and enclosed malls.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Jane was with a local development company and managed over one million square feet of industrial and retail product from the development stage through tenant move in and stabilized operations.
Jane holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation and is a licensed broker in Washington State. She served on the South Sound Building Owner’s and Manager’s Association (BOMA) board from 2009 – 2015, is currently on the BOMA committee, and has been a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) since 2006. Jane also volunteers for USO Northwest and as a disaster assistance worker and public affairs liaison for the American Red Cross.
