Gerrit Hillebrand provides a depth of knowledge across multiple product types, with experience in principal investments and brokerage in multifamily, land, and industrial acquisitions and dispositions. With 20 years in the business, Gerrit has brought successful and equitable transactions to his clients amidst rising and falling market conditions. Throughout his experience, he has been among local industry leaders in the acquisition and repositioning of both distressed and performing assets. Through various procurement strategies, he is responsible for building substantial rental portfolios for several hedge funds and private equity firms.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews in 2023, Gerrit was vice president at Colliers, specializing in the procurement of off-market opportunities for developers and investors. As the son of second-generation builders and third-generation real estate agents, Gerrit has a love for real estate. He thrives on its endless possibilities and the pursuit of significant development and investment projects, focusing on the creation of opportunity that is often overlooked. With a passion for the transformation process, he has a unique ability to visualize the potential of raw land and structures in all conditions and has gained experience in the following:
