Specializing in retail investment sales, long-term ground lease structures, and strategic site selection, Dane Garson represents developers, landlords, and private capital in the acquisition, disposition, and repositioning of retail assets across California and select markets nationwide. His focus lies in structuring larger ground lease deals tied to high-traffic sites, often involving the redevelopment or ground-up construction of express car washes and quick service restaurants (QSRs).
Dane has been directly involved in numerous high-street ground lease transactions with major express car wash operators throughout Greater Los Angeles and Southern California. He also brings significant expertise in repositioning full-service car wash sites—guiding clients through entitlements, tenant negotiations, and lease structuring to drive long-term value.
He began his career at O Hill Development, where he worked on retail-driven acquisitions and entitlement projects, before joining one of Marcus & Millichap’s top-producing national retail teams. In 2022, he moved to Kidder Mathews—now the largest independent commercial real estate firm on the West Coast—where he coordinates retail investment efforts across Los Angeles and beyond.
