David Cutler

David Cutler specializes in commercial real estate investment sales, with more than 20 years of experience advising clients on multifamily housing, single-tenant assets, office and industrial properties, and redevelopment opportunities nationwide.

With a proven track record spanning over 200 transactions and $1.4 billion in sales volume, David brings deep market insight, financial acumen, and strategic execution to every client engagement. He represents a wide range of clients—from institutional investors to private capital—by sourcing high-quality investment opportunities, underwriting assets, preparing detailed valuation models, negotiating transactions, and managing the escrow process start to finish. His expertise also includes analyzing market trends and developing long-term ownership strategies to maximize returns.

Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, David spent nearly two decades at Marcus & Millichap, following his experience in the commercial mortgage industry with Intervest Mortgage in Portland, Oregon, and First Republic Bank in San Francisco, California. He also worked in the Los Angeles area for an international technology company, where he served in Strategic Planning and Business Development. In that role, he was a key member of the team responsible for managing a global real estate portfolio totaling approximately 9.6 million square feet.

Outside of work, David is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain and road biking, fly fishing, skiing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
