Robert has over 30 years of diverse commercial real estate experience as a corporate executive and commercial broker, focusing primarily on the retail and shopping center industry.
Robert began his career in Southern California as a project manager for a real estate development firm specializing in high-end residential and multifamily projects. Upon relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Robert spent over a decade at Savers, Inc., as director of real estate. He was integral to the expansion, repositioning, and surplus disposition of Savers and Value Village stores throughout North America. While in this role, Robert was also responsible for managing and leasing a portfolio of shopping centers, office buildings, and warehouses.
Robert then transitioned from corporate real estate into commercial real estate brokerage by joining First American Properties as senior vice president of retail. While there, Robert managed the expansion and market penetration of several large national retailers, including CarMax, Hobby Lobby, Grocery Outlet, Savers, Ethan Allen, and Qdoba Mexican Grill.
This diverse professional experience, which encompasses the perspectives of landlords and tenants, enables Robert to understand both sides of the real estate transaction and to resolve any issues that may arise to the satisfaction of both parties.

I’ve worked with many brokers throughout the US over my 30-year career as a real estate executive, and Robert is one of the best. He thinks like a retailer. He has keen negotiating skills and vast market knowledge, and his ability to thoroughly understand both tenant and landlord positions combine to make him a highly effective broker.
