Daniel Boring MAI, ARA, ASA has over 30 years of experience in the valuation, analysis, acquisition, and disposition of institutional investment-grade real estate, and machinery and equipment on both national and international levels.
He holds the position of senior vice president at Kidder Mathews Valuation Advisory Services, working within the Land, Agribusiness and Natural Resources group, the Machinery and Equipment group and the Marine Services group.
The Agribusiness, Land and Natural Resources group focuses on agricultural cropland, permanent plantings, food processing, bottling, cold storage, nurseries, greenhouses, hydroponics, feed mix operations, vineyards, wineries, fish farms, water rights, wind and solar energy, quarries, landfills, waste management, and mining.
Daniel possesses extensive experience in USPAP-compliant machinery and equipment valuations across a broad range of industries, including food processing, agriculture, marine, mining, and waste management.
In addition, Daniel specializes in the valuation and consulting for recreational marine facilities, port and harbor operations, dry docks, cargo handling, and repair services.
As a senior member of the Litigation Support Services group, Daniel assists clients with scoping disputes, conducting research, analyzing strategies and damage theories, and preparing cases, including offering expert witness testimony.
Daniel is renowned for delivering premier advisory, consultation, and valuation services for high-profile properties, catering to a diverse clientele that includes multinational corporations, REITs, national lenders, and law firms. Previously, Daniel served as co-practice group leader for the Land, Agribusiness, and Natural Resources Group at CBRE, CEO of Lee & Associates Valuation, senior managing director at Grubb & Ellis Landauer, senior director with Cushman and Wakefield, and executive managing director with Colliers International.
