Nancy received her Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA. She holds her real estate license from the state of California.
Nancy Babb leads Kidder Mathews’ asset services capabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area from the firm’s office in downtown San Jose, bringing with her 30 years of commercial real estate experience in the Silicon Valley market. Nancy is responsible for managing assets, developing and directing the Bay Area property team, and assisting with client development and support.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Nancy was a senior portfolio manager and director of property management with Colliers International, during which time she oversaw approximately 5 million square feet of industrial properties valued at $625 million for Walton Street Capital and IndCor Properties. Nancy also provided leadership, support, and guidance to a team of property management professionals, administrative staff, and engineers, ensuring they operated in a professional manner and provided a high level of customer service.
Nancy’s experience includes serving as vice president of leasing and property management for the McCandless Management Corporation in Santa Clara, California where she managed property operations, financial management and leasing of 3 million square feet of commercial office, R&D, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities throughout Northern California valued at $588 million.
Nancy is deeply experienced in every aspect of the commercial real estate industry, including leasing and asset management, developing and maintaining staff support, negotiating lease documents, coordinating tenant improvements, financial management and property accounting, and daily property management duties. She also prepares annual budgets for each property and institutional partnerships.
