Google is doubling down on its presence in Mountain View as other companies in the region pare back their footprints.
The Sundar Pichai-led giant is set to sign a lease for an entire 156,500-square-foot office building at 1255 Pear Avenue in Mountain View, not far from its headquarters, the Silicon Valley Business Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the discussions. Google is working out the lease renewal deal with the building’s owner, The Sobrato Organization.
