L.A. County Office Vacancy Holds at 16% as Hybrid Work Persists

Los Angeles County’s office market plateaued in early 2026 as companies settle into their return-to-office routines.

Direct vacancy for office space held steady at about 16% in the first quarter, unchanged since the end of 2025, according to a report from Kidder Mathews. For Class A office, direct vacancy remained at 20.6%.
