In its 2024 fourth quarter multifamily report, Kidder Mathews says investment activity across the Puget Sound region is “surging,” noting $1.8 billion in sales in last year’s third quarter, with transaction volume up more than 30% year over year. Vacancies also fell to 7%, “signaling steady absorption of new supply,” while rents rose only modestly.
