Kidder Mathews is pleased to welcome John Kovaleski, David Buchholz, SIOR, and Alex Kovaleski to the firm’s Silicon Valley office. The team specializes in the sale and leasing of commercial/industrial properties throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

All three brokers join Kidder Mathews from Colliers, where they worked together as a long-standing commercial/industrial brokerage team. During their time there, they built a well-established advisory platform serving corporate, institutional, and private capital clients, with a focus on industrial leasing, sales, and site selection across a wide range of asset types, including logistics, manufacturing, automotive, and distribution facilities.

John Kovaleski, Executive Vice President, brings more than four decades of experience advising institutional and private capital clients on commercial/industrial leasing, sales, and land transactions throughout Silicon Valley. His work spans tenant and landlord representation, investment sales, and development-oriented assignments, with a long-standing focus on delivering practical, market-driven solutions for clients.

David Buchholz, Executive Vice President, has more than three decades of experience in corporate tenant representation, project leasing, and site acquisition and disposition. He advises corporate and institutional clients on complex, multi-market assignments and is actively involved in industry leadership through the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).

Alex Kovaleski, Vice President, focuses on locally driven leasing and sales assignments and supports the team’s broader advisory platform across Silicon Valley. He brings a strong execution-oriented approach to brokerage, informed by more than a decade of prior experience in marketing and business development.

“Our business has always been built on long-term relationships and consistency,” added John Kovaleski. “Kidder Mathews values that continuity and provides an exceptional platform where we can build on the success of those relationships.”

“We’re in a position to offer clients a high level of service, supported by industry-leading in-house resources across marketing, technology, and research,” said Buchholz. “The firm’s independence and collaborative culture allow us to stay focused on execution.”

“We’re excited to welcome a team that brings not only tenure, but real influence and impact across the local market, the broader region, and the national commercial real estate landscape,” said David Nelson, Regional President of Brokerage. “They’re highly respected for how they advise clients and for the consistency they bring as a team.”
