Seattle’s retail market is tighter — and smaller — than you might think.
Minimal development and repurposing of spaces have contributed to a decline in the available retail inventory in the Seattle market, according to Kidder Mathew’s latest retail report. The brokerage reports retail inventory in the three largest counties — King, Snohomish and Pierce — has dwindled by about 1.5 million square feet since 2020.
