With 25 years of success across multiple industries and a distinguished career in military and business leadership, Barker brings a mission-driven approach to helping clients achieve investment goals.
Before joining Kidder Mathews, Barker began his commercial real estate career at Lee & Associates in Tacoma. Prior to that, he served 22 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets), earning a Bronze Star and gaining invaluable experience in international negotiations, foreign business operations, and national-level strategy. He combines this extensive military discipline with a strong background in finance, accounting, private equity, and business administration.
In addition to his military accomplishments, Barker has founded multiple successful businesses, served on local advisory boards and boards of directors, and led national-level socioeconomic development projects abroad.
