The Port of Hood River has hired Tom Bacci of Kidder Mathews as its exclusive listing broker for all Port-owned properties for the next 60 months.
Bacci will manage the Port’s 22 properties, 165 tenants, and nearly 30 acres of developable land — handling leasing, renewals, development, and acquisitions on behalf of the Port.
“With the new bridge coming soon to Hood River, the goal is to keep this gem of a town vibrant, quaint and a place where people are proud to call home,” said Bacci.
“Collaborating with an expert like Mr. Bacci will bring fresh insights and strategies to reinvigorate the port’s commercial holdings through new policy, renovations, rebranding, repositioning, and finding and fostering new and existing businesses,” said Kristi Chapman, President of Port of Hood River Board of Commissioners.
Established in the 1850s, the Port of Hood River is a key economic hub in the Columbia River Gorge — providing infrastructure for commercial, industrial, and recreational activities. Known for its vibrant waterfront, the port supports regional trade, tourism, and local businesses, while also offering facilities for boating, windsurfing, and other water sports. With a strategic location, it plays a pivotal role in connecting local industries to broader markets.
