One of Portland’s downtown office buildings has been returned to its lender. The 266,664 square foot property previously owned by DRA Advisors was taken back by Nuveen, which foreclosed on the property, known as the Five Oak Building, and took the title at a recorded value of $44.2 million, or about $165 per square foot, according to an industry source. The transaction was recorded in a recently released Kidder Mathews Portland office market report for the third quarter of 2024.
