In his college days, Alex Morcos took the metro train to travel the streets of Paris. Renting an apartment near a train station just made sense to him.
Half a century later, Morcos took his longtime friend and business partner Faouzi Sefrioui north of Seattle, where a $3.1-billion project is expanding the region’s light rail service. The two stood on 145th Street near the Shoreline South Station on a sunny day five years ago, envisioning the potential. They resolved right then to develop an apartment complex.
