Peter Winterling has joined Kidder Mathews’ Sacramento office as a senior vice president, specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial and office/flex properties. Before joining Kidder Mathews, Winterling was with Newmark in Sacramento for over 30 years, where he served as a senior managing director.
Over the course of his career, Winterling has completed more than 2,000 transactions in the greater Sacramento area. He has represented a diverse range of clientele from local startups to national companies such as FedEx, Wells Fargo, and the United States Department of Agriculture. His notable transactions have included a six-building portfolio totaling 380,000 square feet for FJM Investments, a 109,000-square-foot built-to-suit for General Produce at Metro Air Park, and a 100,650-square-foot property acquisition for Universal Custom Displays.
“I am excited to be part of the Kidder Mathews team,” said Winterling. “As a privately held West Coast company with 900 professionals in 20 offices, it is a great blend of an entrepreneurial organization with an exceptional platform and support for our clients, while also being very broker-centric and nimble to adapt to changing markets for client needs.”
“We are thrilled to welcome someone of Peter’s expertise and tenure in Sacramento,” said David Nelson, Regional President of Brokerage for Northern California & Nevada. “One of Kidder Mathews’ key competitive advantages is that we are a privately held firm, owned by our professionals. This structure grants us the flexibility to efficiently serve our brokers and clients, setting us apart from publicly held competitors. In a time when others are reducing support, commissions, and stock dividends, we maintain 90/10 commission splits and consistently distribute dividends to our Kidder Mathews shareholders.”
