Newport Beach, Calif.-based TRC Retail is spending money in Northern California again. The company that owns properties across the region has just acquired the Safeway Plaza in Dublin, Calif. in a deal valued at $35 million, or roughly $509 per square foot, according to the Q3 2023 retail market report by Kidder Mathews. This transaction marks a second investment the company has made in the region, following a $53 million investment in a retail center in Sacramento in January of this year.
