Embattled cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is coming back to the Bay Area after exiting its San Francisco headquarters in an effort to go “remote first” just two years ago.

The now-headquarterless tech company is leasing 40,000 square feet of space in a multiuse Mountain View shopping complex once occupied by Silicon Valley tech giant Meta.
