Kidder Mathews Welcomes Land and Agribusiness Team to Carlsbad Office

Matt Marschall, MAI, AI-GRS, ARA, FRICS, Dylan Marschall, and Warren McCafferty have joined Kidder Mathews’ office in Carlsbad, specializing in land and agribusiness commercial real estate. Matt Marschall has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Dylan Marschall as First Vice President, and McCafferty as Senior Associate.

The team offers brokerage and consultation services for a wide variety of land and agricultural properties, including row crops/cropland; permanent plantings/tree crops; nursery and greenhouses; transitional land; farms and ranches; agricultural facilities — packaging/cooling; water, natural resources, and minerals; and complex land analysis.

Matt Marschall brings 40 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to Kidder Mathews, Marschall was with Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE. During his time at CBRE, he served as Executive Managing Director for the firm’s land and agribusiness practice. He has also provided extensive appraisal services including litigation support for a range of properties and investment-grade assets. Marschall holds the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and the AI-GRS designation. He is also an Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA), granted by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, as well as a Fellow with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).

Dylan Marschall has been in the commercial real estate industry for over a decade. His experience prior to Kidder Mathews includes Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE. At Cushman & Wakefield, he worked in appraisal on assignments throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. After Cushman, he began his brokerage career at CBRE, where he worked for over six years.

Warren McCafferty brings over 30 years of experience in real estate and construction management. He worked as a project engineer for Peter Kiewit Sons’, Inc., one of the world’s largest construction firms, overseeing major projects ranging from water treatment plants, pumping stations, rate flow control stations, and power plants. He was also the owner and CEO of one of the largest community management companies in Southern Nevada, with offices in Las Vegas, Reno, and Southern California. McCafferty served in the United States Navy before his career in real estate and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf.
