More than two years after workers left their offices as part of a vast social distancing effort at the start of the pandemic, the region’s return-to-office rate is still low and the office vacancy rate continues to grow.
A Kidder Mathews report released last week shows the regional office vacancy rate was 10% for the second quarter, continuing a 10-quarter trend where vacancy rates have risen eight times.
