‘It’s been a long time coming’: Housing developer welcomes Tacoma’s growth

Residential developer Michael Hopkins, a lifelong resident of Tacoma, sees strong demand for housing in the city.

A Kidder Mathews report recently said there are 819 units are under construction in urban Tacoma, while 681 have been approved and 1,140 are in the review phase. There are also 67 micro-housing units in the pipeline.
