Seattle’s heavy Amazon presence and its proximity to ports prompted a 6.5% year-over-year increase in industrial space rent prices, according to a report by CommercialEdge. The average price for industrial space in Seattle was $8.34 per square foot in April, which is higher than the national average of $6.54.
