Portland-Based SKB has Big Plans for a Seattle Industrial Property

The longtime Seattle home of window-maker Northwestern Industries (NWI) will be turned into a multitenant facility, the new owner said Thursday.

Portland-based ScanlonKemperBard on Tuesday paid $24 million for the 213,000-square-foot Magnolia property on nearly six acres at 2421 W. Commodore Way. SKB President Todd Gooding confirmed the purchase and said the plan is to redevelop the building.
