Kidder Mathews has expanded its Orange County office, adding veteran commercial real estate broker and net lease expert Michael Walseth, executive vice president, to the firm’s net leased investments group, where he will lead the Walseth Net Leased Investments team. The team includes Justin Bergman and Alex Moore and focuses specifically on single-tenant net leased transactions nationwide.
Walseth has 20 years of experience as a commercial real estate professional and net leased investment expert. During his career, he has closed over 150 property transactions accounting for nearly $3 billion in total consideration. Earlier this year, Walseth exclusively listed and sold a Home Depot located at Brea Union Plaza marking the largest single tenant net leased transaction sold year to date in Orange County. The sale set a new national record for a Home Depot – $45,000,000 (4.0% Cap rate per CoStar research).
Bergman has been named a senior associate with the firm and will be based in Kidder Mathews’ West Los Angeles office. Clients he has worked with include Taco Bell, Bob Evans, Walgreens, and McDonald’s. Prior to Kidder Mathews, he was with Marcus & Millichap in Newport Beach, California.
Alex Moore is an associate at Kidder Mathews. He will be working with Walseth in the firm’s Orange County office. Moore is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, where he played middle linebacker for the Trojan football team.
