LABJ Recognizes Three Kidder Mathews Teams as Top Brokers in Who’s Brokering LA

The Los Angeles Business Journal has recognized three top commercial real estate teams from Kidder Mathews in their annual feature Who’s Brokering Los Angeles.

Who’s Brokering LA spotlights the top commercial real estate brokers in the Los Angeles area who oversee major deals based on the size and value of the property. Kidder Mathews teams were three of only 25 brokers/broker teams represented on the list this year.

El Segundo industrial real estate team, Harvey Beesen, SIOR, Luke Staubitz, SIOR, Andrew Dilfer, SIOR, and Brianna Demus, specialize in industrial properties throughout the South Bay and Greater LAX submarkets. Collectively, they have over 85 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Two of their major projects in the last year include representing Prologis in the long term lease of a 75,000 square foot industrial building to Los Angeles World Airports and marketing the development for Kearny Real Estate Company and PCCP of over 400,000 square feet of a Class A industrial buildings to be built at the Torrance Industrial Exchange. This is the third time they have been recognized in Who’s Brokering LA.

The industrial team of Jon Reno, SIOR, CCIM, Trevor Gale, SIOR, Mark Vanis, and Connor Ulf have received the Who’s Brokering LA recognition for the third time. The team works out of Kidder Mathews Downtown Los Angeles office. They specialize in logistics real estate, specifically e-commerce and last-mile facilities in the Central Los Angeles market, and have over 55 years of combined commercial real estate experience. In the last year, their total transaction volume was $177,541,545. Their largest deals being an 11.24-acre facility at 2420 Yates Avenue in Commerce and a 54-door truck terminal in Pico Rivera, sold to Prologis for $41,350,000 and $29,500,000 respectively.

Darrell Levonian, Tanel Harunzade, and Brittney McCarthy are located in Kidder Mathews’ West Los Angeles office. The team specializes in retail investment sales in the Greater Los Angeles market. In the last year, they have been involved in several transactions totaling over $125 million in value. Significant sales include Santa Fe Springs Promenade in Santa Fe Springs for $31.9 million, 8532 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood for $20.5 million, and The Broxton at Weyburn in Los Angeles for $13.5 million.
